Energy Saving Compact Fluorescent Daylight Bulbs
Our 15-Watt Dimmable R30 and
our 23-Watt Dimmable R40 Flood
Lights now come in 2700K Warm White and
5000K Daylight Color Temperatures!
We carry a number of long lasting, energy saving compact fluorescent light bulb models with the Daylight color temperature from 5000K to 6350K. The most common color temperature is 2700K or Soft White (also referred to as Warm White). We also carry many models in the Cool White color temperature. Daylight bulbs are preferred in many applications because the light they output makes items illuminated appear as they would when illuminated by sun light. Daylight bulbs are often preferred for photography, painting, or other tasks that require a true color representation of the objects being illuminated. They are also great for helping reduce the effects of Seasonal Disorder disease since they give the effect of summer time sun light.
While they are not actually brighter then their Soft White or Cool White equivalents (brightness is measured in Lumens) they appear brighter and have a bluer-white light.
The table below lists all of our bulbs that are available in a Daylight color temperature option. Clicking on the item description will take you to the detail page for that item. Many of these bulbs come in multiple color temperatures. If there is a color temperature option there will be a drop down list of color temperatures to select from next to the "Add to Cart" button for the item. Select the "5000K" or the "6350K" color temperature for Daylight and the desired quantity prior to pressing the "Add To Cart" button on the detail page.
Many of these models are also available in a Cool White Color temperature.
